1. Routine Maintenance (After Each Use / Daily)
- Print head: Clean surface; run test print. Thoroughly clean, seal and moisturize if idle for over 48 hours.
- Cleaning: Wipe platform, guide rails, wiper blades, waste ink tank and ink absorber; remove paper scraps and ink stains.
- Ink system: Check ink level and air bubbles. Top up ink promptly (keep level above 1/5).
- Environment: Maintain stable temperature & humidity; keep dust to a minimum.
2. Weekly Maintenance
- Lubricate guide rails and sliders with dedicated lubricant.
- Clean raster strip (wipe in one direction with alcohol swabs) and raster encoder.
- Clear waste ink tank and tubes; inspect pinch rollers for wear and adhesive residue.
- Check belt tension and coupling screws.
3. Monthly Maintenance
- Flush ink system including main & sub ink bottles and pipelines; replace ink filters.
- Inspect circuits and plugs; clean dust from power box and circuit boards with compressed air.
- Calibrate print head alignment and colors; back up configuration files.
4. Quarterly / In-depth Maintenance
- Fully clean capping station and waste ink pad; replace worn parts.
- Check UV lamp service life (approx. 1500 hours) and replace if needed.
- Test print head voltage, negative pressure and ink supply stability.
- For long-term shutdown: Drain ink, flush pipelines with cleaning fluid, then seal and store the print head.
